We need Peaceful solution, but If Tanzania Malawi and SA attacks us we will not give them a sweet and blow kisses

As expected by the population of Bunagana, the President of the M23 Bertrand Bisimwa took time to address them and update them about the progress of the peace negotiations in Kampala.  President Bertrand Bisimwa thanked the huge crowd of people who turned up to listen to him speaking,  he expressed his appreciation for their support. He explained to the population that the M23 wants peace to prevail and not war. He said the Movement did everything possible to achieve peace in DR Congo through dialogue but once again it was likely that there would be more victims of war as a result of the circumstances being created and imposed by Kabila, the UN and SANDF.

We don’t want to fight our brothers from SA, Tanzania & Malawi. We are asking them to support peace in DRC, not to come to fight

President   Bisimwa stressed that the March 23 Movement (M23) has always been ready to negotiate with the Congolese government, not for the purpose of being awarded  positions in government, but rather to solve the problems of the Congolese people. However, he said that while the corrupt government of Joseph Kabila was engaging M23 in talks in Kampala, at the same time the same government was preparing for a military assault on the Movement.   This devious conduct of the DRC government and its supporters has culminated into the UN ‘’intervention’’ brigade which is supposed to arrive in Kivu to wage war against the very people who are up in arms against bad governance in DRC.

The President assured the population who had come to listen to him that his movement will not allow the so called ‘’intervention’’ brigade to arrive in Kivu and unleash war on the inhabitants.  He promised that M23 would fight with all its strength to ensure that the Congolese people claim their legitimate rights. He also stressed that it was both shocking and shameful that the ANC freedom fighters of yesterday have joined hands with the corrupt government of Kabila and foreign interests to wage war against Congolese freedom fighters of today.

  1. Is it me or is M23 afraid of the SANDF. If 265 SA solders with limted ammo supplies and zero support could kill any where from 400 to 1000 rebels in CAR for the loss of 13 dead and 27 wounded what would a battlion with proper support do in the DRC.

Best thing to do is for M23 to lay down there arms. If you unhappy with the goverment there are other means to complian than starting a war. So don’t act like M23 are the good guys. They just as at fault than the goverment of the DRC.

    • Where did you heard this famous story ? Yes they where outnumber and so, you kmow what it mean in fire-power ? if they could kill 20 selekas rebels do you thing that ANCs contingent could cross Zongo n rest ? not at all..SANGO in CRA NGBANDI n ZONGO there people have 2 ID cart..CRA-IDs in back left pocket and DRCs right back pocket i thing you know what i mean
it s SVAARTING RAG TAG ANCs sldiers who re coming and no KABOERSOLDIERS ,,yes every
want to see DRC liv n peace…peop.le are tired..oh yeah the M23 are the good guy ready to seatttle a peace other wise–they ll defend themselves…
